She Died
26" x 39", mixed media.

The plight of the homeless is
usually touted in the news during the
holiday season. An accurate count of
how many people living without a
home is not known. In New York
City, the homeless are simply passed
by. In the suburbs, its much harder
to see. Someone might be sleeping
under a bridge. Someone dies of
hypothermia while sleeping in the
shelter of a Little League dugout.
The homeless live and then die.
There is no obituary and no one
notices that they're gone.
